I worked for a medical equipment company that made disposable patient sensors (thrown away to avoid cross contamination.) They were making good money on them, but they wanted to cut costs....

They sourced the sensor from China. It was unsafe, and I rejected it six times for test failures.

They wanted to cut costs anyway, so they fired me, and bought them in in spite of my objections.

The business went from 12 million dollars to 3 million. So They lost a lot more than I did, ROFLOL!
