Is either someone has faith (In god, creator, all that is, smart energy) regardless the label of religion Jew, Christian, Muslim, Hindu …etc or be an atheist (No God, not even smart, aware and benevolent universe) or be ignorant and say who cares. If an atheist believes in evolution and selection of the strongest, smartest, most adapting … then he must have no murals nor ethics (like helping a poor or a homeless or being honest), because these concepts are in conflict with evolution. And if he does have morals and ethics, then he has issues with his/her belief system. In other words he believes in evolution but does not practice it. There is no reason to stop him from cheating, steeling, or committing any thing to elevate himself unless he believe being honest is the best way to go for him. The only reason he would not deceive is the law and being afraid of getting caught and punished. The most dangerous outcome of atheism is if atheists are in a position of power and have the ability to change or write the laws. They will manipulate everything to benefit themselves only and to destroy the others. Because the others are competing against them for the same limited resources.
On the other hand religious people are as dangerous because faith is invisible in the hart. There is no test or scale that can verify faith. And anyone can claim to have faith. Even smart atheist can pretend to have faith if that will serve his needs. The most dangerous outcome of theology is if religious people are in position of power and have the ability to change or write the laws. They will restrict the mind form being free thinker. Disabling the very main function that their god has created the mind for.

I think an important thing to notice, and never forget, is that there are many Atheists who aren't pure Machiavellis. I think, there is a program in all of us to be empathetic with one another. We understand those of us around us, because we understand, that as we are a watcher, they are a watcher, and we are all observers yet participants. In other words we see ourselves in everything. Where we as people make this mistake, is when we forget that we are them, and that they are us. Of course, I think the flaw in Atheism is that since there is no scientific reason, or biological advantage to be so empathetic, Atheism can unfortunately lead to apathy, and apathy is the destroyer of man.
" I think, there is a program in all of us to be empathetic with one another" I agree. Most atheists ignore this inner caller because they are angry at some religious person here or there.
