Makital

The Hive Name.png
When the time was of no light. Makital travelled the darkness searching for place to build his creations. He chose this place where the Muati people would be made. Makital created the chahold to hold all of the cha and shared it daily with the Muati people. This cha gives the Muati people life each day.

Makital first created the chahold. Then he created Vinit (the name of the planet). He added water and wind to the planet. He took some of each. Vinit water wind and added cha to them to create the Muati people. Since that time the Muati have held festivals to celebrate Makital.

Makital now travels between all the white lights. His power is far reaching and he can make things happen just by thought. He hears their prayers. He brings fish to the shore, fruit to the trees, meat to the forests, crops for the plains. Water and winds to help them all grow.

Their festivals were never indulgent, although they were joyous. The celebration was more a celebration of collaboration. Each festival they would build a raft and fill it with all of their fruit and meats. Except for fish. Fish was omitted from the raft. It was assumed Makital had plenty of fish were the sea meets the darkness.

On these occasions the beach would fill with people. Big festivals when people would travel from all villages. The festivals would be held over a few days. Each village would send a cart or what it had to offer. If not food then some form of jewellery or rare item.

Muati had no statue's or other images to worship. They had never seen Makital. They knew he was there because he keep the chahold full of cha.

To the west where the mountains reach the sea. High tide must be in to reach that walkway to the look out station. Moshi and Mwenzi were on look out. But watching the horizon to watch the chahold rise. Moshi was the first to notice and jumped to his feet from a laying position.
"Makital. Makital." Pointing to where to chahold was about to rise. "Makital, he is here".

Mwenzi gained his footing and went straight to a hollowed tree trunk and began to bang with large branches. the same time Moshi was shouting down to those closest, Makital is here.

Some closest to the look out got to look up and see Makital. A shining reflection could be seen before the chahold rose. By the end of the day. People from all across the land were arriving at the beach. This was the first time Makital had been seen in the sky for over 1000 years.

A festival must be arranged to greet Makital.
