RE: A Better Store of Value

in #philosophy8 years ago

I think that decentralization would lead to lower power consumption over all. If one just looks at the centralized electricity and water systems it becomes obvious that there is alot of waste.

Many people try to free themselves from these systems and start managing their own water and power needs and quickly realize how wasteful they have been. Once it all doesn't come from the turn of a knob or a flip of a switch but instead all must be obtained and managed, the blinders fall off.

But like all centralized silos the utility companies use their friends in public office to punish these people and force them back onto the plantation. This can't hold forever.

Fortunately blockchains exist. They will upend utilities just like they are finances.

'Bout time too.

Thanks for the post.
