There are many problems of all kinds of nature that afflicts our society, that is why we should ask ourselves:
Does it make sense to philosophize?
Science and technology have already been called to solve many of the current problems, and it is the art of philosophizing that apparently lags behind this demand for reality. Science and technology already in my opinion dominate the current scenario of modernity, and if they do not dominate a whole, they do not lack much for it.
If we analyze the situation in which social changes occur with such development and rapidity, it seems useless to get to answer the most general and most radical questions, with this it seems contradictory to say it, but under these circumstances of accelerated changes philosophy is very necessary, why:
The popular knowledge of our peoples are originated by the intrinsic art of being able to philosophize, contributing culturally to the happiness of the individuals, that to the individual is one of the fundamental objectives that philosophy pursues. Hence the importance of philosophy in the world we live in today, since there is no tool that deals with this as philosophy.
It is necessary to reflect on criteria that help us overcome the prejudices and dogmatisms that populate ordinary knowledge about reality, about ourselves and our societies. This reflection comes to occupy a large space when we give the value to enter the scene as philosophy as such.
In addition, today we coexist with some particularly dangerous threats in terms of information and knowledge, since the alleged information is very fast and exceeds all borders, including those of our own privacy; Internet and mobile phones, which help us so many times, are, in others, dehumanizing instruments that take us away from reality. That reality approaches us to understand it and to dominate it to our benefit, once we understand philosophy as the fundamental tool that will help us to approach that more surrounding reality.
It is necessary to adopt a critical position that allows us to determine if there are reasonable ends for our life and which are, what has been occupied, from its origin until today, philosophy has been the faithful tool so that we can adopt that critical vision that every individual of today must possess to face the contemporary reality.
Conclusion
It is common the experience of the child who, at an early age, constantly asks "What is this?" And "Why?". The first question is usually enough to be answered by the name of the object for which the question is asked, but the answer to the second questions it with another one, and with another, and continues successively with the same question from each answer, until that the adult gets tired and distracts him with any game or nearby object, which leads us to think that asking and asking is inherent to the human condition, as well as to suspecting those who, tired or interested, try to distract us with games or objects to let's stop doing it
If we are born with these innate anxieties to want to know everything, the origin and why of things, it is a condition that makes us think of the great thing of preserving the elementary features of philosophy, but a philosophy that adopts the modern features of the contemporaneity.
