What a peaceful picture. The name Landwehr Canal rings a special bell for me. Nearly hundert years ago the socialist leader Rosa Luxemburg was thrown into the canal after she has been murdered. This sad story reminds me to pick up again her book "Briefe aus dem Gefaengnis" (Letters from the Prison), which sheds wonderfully light on this remarcable person and free spirit!
