Today was the US Thanksgiving holiday. Today was a pretty great day for me. While most people celebrate with Turkey we have a family tradition of lobster for Thanksgiving. So I got to enjoy this lovely lobster for Thanksgiving. 
I did miss the cranberries this year normally we have a cranberry dish but things were a little hectic here and we didn't get a cranberry dish prepared. Everyone got their own lobster even the kids 
We also had some roasted potatoes both sweet and normal as well as apple cider. For desert we had a blue Hubbard squash pie, much like pumpkin pie but no pumpkin in it.
We also had fresh homemade whipped cream. No one talked politics either so that was nice. How was your Thanksgiving dinner?
