Baby ELephant, So Funny

in #photocircle6 years ago

According to data I obtained from the Natural Resources Conservation Center (BKSDA) Aceh, the population of Sumatran Elephants remaining in the wild in 2016 ranged in the number of 1.740 tails and one third in Aceh about 539 tails.

The number is believed to continue to decrease because Elephant death cases often occur, be it poisoned, killed for taking ivory and exposed to traps mounted by humans.

The Sumatran Elephant (Elephas Maximus Sumatranus) is a subspecies of Asian elephant that weighs 5 to 6 tons and reaches a height of 2.8 meters. Animals that are able to live to age 70 to 80 this year require water and leaves that much to sustain life.

Elephants have a very important role for human life because in the dirt produced by elephants, there are seeds of plants that can fertilize the forest that has been damaged, naturally.

At least, an adult elephant needs 150 kg of food and 160 liters of water each day. With such a strong 'physical', elephants can travel between 20 to 25 km per day.

However, look at these baby Elephant photos. She's name is Intan, she is a baby elephant in Conservation Response Unit Trumon, South Aceh. See how funny and adorable, is this very cute animal worthy of being killed and cruelly murdered?
