Another one of my photography images.

in #photofeed6 years ago

Here's another fire shot, I think this one is pretty ummm.. It's hard to find the right word.. But.. It's "powerful" perhaps for lack of a better term.. Unfortunately the colors appear to be a little off, the sky is too blue.. Bad editing on my job. I think there's a little too much color in the smoke cloud as well, oh well. It is what it is.. A dramatic shot, and.. Humbling to remember the destruction going on. Even though it may create a certain kind of view or visual, there's definitely something more serious and sobering to the story going on with this image and other fire images..

This was taken in Sedona Arizona on a 6x7. The mountain is called.. Capital Butte or Thunderhead Mountain. It's a beautiful place, though unfortunate we get so many fires here.. We even have a "fire season" now it's so bad..

Just by looking at it... there’s so much power and emotion involved in this photo . I love the color mixture

Destructive and beautiful at the same time, great shot. I remember that day, WOW!

just....wow! Fantastic capture!

@apolymask,
Wow dude this is fantastic! How did you get that scenery? I think you had to climb to the top of another mountain! What a great area you are living in! Fabulous photography bro! Thanks for sharing!

Cheers~

Didn't have to hike, there's a parking spot up there, heh.. But yeah it is on top of a mountain, it's the local airport up there where I took the shot. And yes, the area is beautiful.. Even during fires and destruction. It really is a special place. You're welcome for sharing, thanks for appreciating!

Wow seems like a volcanic eruption, cool shot

@apolymask - Your father's talent in your blood Sir... This is outstanding... Nice you decided to share it Sir...

Powerful indeed, it's a beautiful photo though, even more so due to the contrast of color light and subject (quiet neigbourhood vs. fire!)

Amazing your photography ..Outstanding photo.

I hate to see how wonderful wildlife taken away but man this shot still. I would love this as a piece in my house. Maybe we can work something out over steem. :)

nice capture..as you said the blue colour of the sky has taken away its natural look..but yet it is a great click :)

I like the color mixing.Great capture!!!!! To be honest I do not like the colors of the sky and the smoke. But I love the colors on the ground

It seems like the apocalypse is coming to Thunderhead Mountain! So sad to see the nature being destroyed so quickly.

A very powerful photo! It looks amazing!

Wow! It's hard to find words to describe this picture. It's so powerful and really shows what nature can do. I can't believe how massive the fire is!
