The only drone I can recommend to you right now is mavic pro.
The air has a terrible signal as well as the spark.
Phantom 3 is outdated.
Mavic pro is the drone you need! Save up or get a used one... Or maybe a refurbished one... :)

Thank you for answering! Do you think that the Mavic Pro would be fine for me even though I am a newbie with drones? I found a refurbished one for 800 so that's about the same price as the Air. It's a lot more than I was planning on spending, but at the same time I feel like if I am going to buy a drone I should get a good one...
If you haven't flown at all then you should get a 20 dollar ali express drone. that you can ly in your room. Learn to use that like a boss and then get the mavic pro! That would be the best chain of events! :)
