Perfection

This would have to be one of my all time favourite waves to shoot, only a few hours drive down the coast from where I live and rarely known about, 9 times out of 10 you'll get it to yourself. It breaks on a shallow reef and holds on solid swells and sightings of Great White sharks hanging around this area are very common, more than likely the reason not to many people surf it.

Nothing beats sitting on the inside watching these roll in from the horizon one after another.

Yehh bro, I'm in WA down in Margaret river. I've been in the wave photography game for about 6 months and just got a trigger grip. Next step will be an upgrade to DSLR and water housing.

Feel free to share any recommedation's or tips! Also there is a series running called #shorebreaksessions - all water and wave based photographyv:)

Oh epic! You'll have your fair share of amazing swells. I'm keen to follow your journey. Nice dude, what housing are you thinking of getting?
I'll check it out. YEW

I happened to catch @jfolkmann curation post this morning, and this image just grabbed me! I've since peeked at your other photos (even made a trip to your website), and they are frellin' amazing! I grew up at the water's edge as well (Gloucester Massachusetts) so the ocean totally speaks to my soul. Can't wait to see what other goodies you share!

Thank you so much Traci for the kind words! Stoked you made your way to my website too!

You're very welcome!
