NIGHT HIKE IN THE UINTA MOUNTAINS OF UTAH

in #photofeed4 years ago

I had a quick job in Park City doing some aerial photos and video of a house under construction that a friend of mine is building so somehow I convinced my wife to go on dinner/overnight camping trip. We ate sushi in town then headed to the nearby Uinta mountains, about an hour east of the city.
We arrived around 9 PM, set up a tent at a primitive campsite then headed a little further up the highway to hike to a popular Mt. Baldy. We only were going a little ways to get a little elevation so that we could see across the valley below and to Salt Lake to the West.

This photo is made up of 20 photos, 10 stacked photos for the sky, and 10 stacked and blended for the foreground (mostly for the car trails).
I've doing quite a bit of stacking photos lately for milky way images because they come out super clean and look so good.
