Elevation next to water is one of those things you can count on to make good landscape images. Add in some low clouds and a low setting or rising sun and the end result will not disappoint. Montara Mountain is one of my go to spots in the bay area for hiking. It's one of those places where you can hike in any direction, go as far as you want, and you will have a great view the entire time.
