The next Lockdown is coming I guess
Light Painting exercise with living room plants will become important for survival. Looking for photography subjects. Where is my next model? What am I going to photograph?

Here is another shot and how I got there. How did that start?
During a Lockdown situation, I kept running around my home to find things to Light Paint. Then you find a lot of plants and I started photographing them. But for some reason, I have not looked beyond the normal spectrum at them. For many years I have had a UV Flashlight. Not very expensive or very special, but I have one.
Während der Lockdown-Situation rannte ich immer wieder durch mein Haus, um Dinge zum LightPainten zu finden. Dann and ich in paar Pflanzen und ich habe angefangen sie zu fotografieren. Aber aus irgendeinem Grund habe ich sie nicht über das normale Spektrum hinaus betrachtet. Ja Ich habe seit vielen Jahren eine UV-Taschenlampe. Nicht sehr teuer oder sehr speziell, aber ich habe einen.
Last week when having a visitor (@stepko) we both ran around together and pointed the UV light at my plants. At first, this was not very exciting but then boom the fiddle leaf looked almost red. I placed the Flashlight underneath and the nice cell structure became visible. Super cool!
Letzte Woche, als Ich dann Besuch (@stepko) hatte, sind wir beide zusammen herumgelaufen und haben das UV-Licht (die UV Taschenlampe lag da einfach rum) auf meine Pflanzen gerichtet. Das war zunächst nicht sehr aufregend, aber dann sahen wir das Blatt von meiner GeigenFeige und es sah fast rot aus. Dann hielt Ich die Taschenlampe darunter und dann kam auch noch die schöne Zellstruktur schön hervor. Sehr cool!
Ok How did I get to the main shot?
At first, whats happened here in the main shot?
What you see as the main featured shot is a 49-second single exposure light painting, with the camera set to ISO 100 and the lens at F16 on the Sigma 105mm Macro lens. All these shots were taken with the Sigma 105mm Macro.
Was Ihr als Hauptaufnahme seht, ist ein 49-sekündige Einzelbelichtung Light Painting, bei dem die Kamera auf ISO 100und das Objektiv auf F16 am Sigma 105-mm-Makroobjektivs eingestellt ist. Alle diese Aufnahmen wurden mit dem Sigma 105mm Macro gemacht. 😎

Step 1
But what came first? Well, first I had a look at the leaf plain and simple with white light. Just stroking it with a torch at the lowest angle possible. that gives you a nice texture.
Aber was war zuerst da? Nun, zuerst habe ich mir das Blatt schlicht und einfach mit weißem Licht angeschaut. Einfach mit einer Taschenlampe im niedrigstmöglichen Winkel darüber streichen. das gibt dir eine schöne Textur mit kräftigen Schatten.
But How does it look with UV light? Wie siehts aus mit UV Licht?
Step 2
So here is the same thing with a different Flashlight. UV Light seems to illuminate different cells and different parts reflect the light. That can give us a different layer for a combined shot. You can clearly see that there are much fewer shadows and less texture in that spectrum.
Hier ist das gleiche Vorgehen nur mit einer anderen Taschenlampe. UV-Licht scheint verschiedene Zellen zu beleuchten und verschiedene Teile reflektieren das Licht. Das kann uns eine andere Ebene für eine kombinierte Aufnahme geben. Hier könnt Ihr deutlich sehen, dass es in diesem Spektrum viel weniger Schatten und weniger Textur gibt.
Step 3
Just put the Flashlight behind the leaf and see what happens. And WOW the individual cells come out blasting at you for attention. Looove it!
Einfach mal von hinten anleuchten und sehen was bei rauskommt. Und WOW, die einzelnen Zellen springen einen fast an und schreien nach Aufmerksamkeit. Sehr cool
One more.
Step 4
Now we combine all of the above and add some fiberoptic pollen. Just to add another effect not to get bored here. For that, I of course used the black fiber optic bush that I love so much and normally use for portraits. Might as well try it here.
Jetzt kombinieren wir all das und fügen etwas Glasfaserpollen hinzu. Nur um einen weiteren Effekt hinzuzufügen, um sich hier nicht zu langweilen. Dafür habe ich natürlich den schwarzen Glasfaserbuschel verwendet, den ich so liebe und normalerweise für Portraits verwende. Könnte es auch gleich hier versuchen dachte ich.
