Fiery Dreams
How was this shot taken?
These are no Photoshop effects. To get this I was using the black fiber optic whip to create the effects in her face. With an orange flashlight attached to the whip, I swept over her face and stopped here and there. That's where it's more or less brighter than other areas.
For these Light Paintings Liv was laying on the floor and we distributed the hair around her. The tripos was set up in a way that we can look down from above. This way we ensured she is not moving during the exposure and she can super relax.
It's not super complicated but it does take some practice to make it look not super random and leave space for a face to show up. Sounds awkward but I had shots when I could not recognize a human face after performing this technique. So don't wonder if that happens to you.
Wonder how to do your own?

I hope it was informative and maybe also inspirational. If you have more questions please do not hesitate. I am happy to share my knowledge.
