Join the visual journey as I show what it's like to float a Moab River in 100 degree heat with 120+ crazy kids.
This is a little bit late in the making since this was earlier in the summer... but at least I still got it out while it was still summer and hot outside.
So each year for over 10 years some of my friends have organized an open invite event in MOAB UTAH
Here's an image of some of the people that went this year.
They're a pretty fun group and it's a pretty fun event each year... i've made some pretty good friendships over the years from this group.
It was pretty crazy floating down the green river on this fun array of flotation transportations.
Some pre float portraits which i actually didn't take... i gave my camera to some friends and they took pictures of eachother. I was busy helping people inflate stuff.
Oh hey someone is taking a picture... I didn't notice! ;)
Leave it to the actual professional white water rafting guide to dress how someone who's on a river for a long time in the sun would probably actually dress... i thought that was funny.
Sometimes people abandon ship to cool off.
And yes I did take my expensive D850 with an extra lens out on the river with me... because that's how i roll... errr... float!!
this looks crazy fun :)
It's certainly some good times and good people.
That looks like tons of fun! Great job capturing the fun! In Arizona there is a similar situation where we float the Salt River
Is that the one that runs in from east of town?
Yep! It is a floating party just like that up in Moab.
I've been eyeing off a local river for ages.
You're now my go to for advice :)
