The light stung her eyes as she opened them.
Where was she?
The last thing she remembered was being pulled into a dark van, and a hood being thrown over her head. And then nothing...
Standing, she rubbed her eyes and looked around. Other than a door at one end, there was nothing else in the room. The lights on the ceiling pulsed with blues and purples. Walking towards the door, fear gripped her.
Opening the door she found herself in yet another room. This one with 3 platforms, stages. As she entered she heard a voice.
"Proceed to platform 3 for scanning." The voice droned.
She wanted to resist, to run, but there was no where to go. She climbed on to the third platform. As soon as she did the strangely shaped lighting on the ceiling decended just above her head and began to flash. A sensation coated her her body, like slipping into a hot bath.
"Scan complete. Proceed to selection." The voice said abruptly.
Suddenly another door opened.
"Proceed to selection."
She stepped off the platfom, and walked through the open door. Another room.
"Where am I? Who are you?" She yelled.
There was no answer. On the wall in front of her were 3 simple paintings of various colours, and again the voice issued a command.
"Choose."
How was she supposed to choose, the paintings were so similar. The fear that she had felt earlier, turned to annoyance.
"Fine. The middle one."
"Why?" Asked the voice.
"I don't know...because...it stands above the others." She said without thinking, picking the first reason that came into her head.
"Officer corps. Proceed."
The middle painting swung open to reveal a small recess, and sitting on a shelf was what looked like a uniform.
"Put on the uniform." Droned the voice.
"Oh great. What now...?" she thought.

great story, are there other parts ?
I think we crossed paths on discord. I let my stories be guided by photos. So if I see a set of photos I've taken that can help continue the story I will. For example if you look back through my posts for a 'little princess' you'll see several parts...because i have the photos for it.
