I'm still alive!

in #photofeed4 years ago

June has been a mammoth month making my mind mush.

My daughters 2nd birthday, my brothers 40th, my mums 65th, my daughters friends 2nd birthday, my nephews 10th, another nephews 1st, my sister in laws 36th.

And we were giving notice to vacate our house because the landlord wants to sell it so we found a new place and moved in within 2 weeks!

I'll try and be more active on here. I still have some photos and Getty Images statements I can post about.

I was literally just thinking of you today. There's been a discussion around the future of photofeed, and I was thinking about the list of quality photographers on the blockchain. Good to see you back. And nice shot. It looks like the falls at Mt Tamborine, but I don't remember there being that many fallen logs there. Actually, they had that wild flooding a few months ago, so perhaps they came down with that. So yeah, I'm guessing Curtis Falls at Mt Tamborine. :)

edit: cross-posted to my landscape photography community.

This is Marriners Falls near Apollo Bay, Victoria 😁

What's the discussion around photofeed? It's not stopping is it?

He was feeling disheartened by the lack of engagement, but after some people came out in support of his work he decided to keep running it.

It is always hard to get people to engage it seems. To many producers on here and not enough consumers. Chicken and egg somewhat.

Too many flippant followers like me!

Glad to see you back! 🤘

"Back" is such a permanent term 😅

That's why I chose it 😁

Lol just read your title after my comment.

Welcome back. Melb back in lockdown it seems. Love the exposure level on the sunstar.

Yeah back to "stage 3" restrictions. Basically a stay at home order unless you come up with a good excuse. All the businesses that were allowed to open now have to close again. I'm so happy I don't work in hospitality

Yes; tough times for a lot of people.
