Amazing Cerro Torre

This undoubtedly must be one of the most impressive and incredible places in the world, a mystical mountain, desired by any mountaineer in the world, with a lot of history, controversy and unknowns about his first ascent by the famous Italian mountaineer Maestri and his compressor route , I will talk about this in another post.
On this occasion we went to meet the Maestri viewpoint in honor of the first ascent, the view is impressive, the spiers of Cerro Torre are unique and leave you mesmerized for a long time, they make you think of their history, the immensity of the Nature the incomparable beauty, surrounded by glaciers and lakes in Los Glaciares National Park in southern patagonia Argentina.
It is a simple rough trekking of about 12km but without much ascent, it starts from the town of El Chalten (national capital of trekking), you cross ancient forests and Patagonian bushes almost always with a view of the mountains, you reach the lake of the Torre glacier and it skirts in ascent until arriving at the viewpoint.
Without a doubt I am forced to return to this place, there is too much to do for me and to known is too tempting. I just hope it doesn't take long to meet again with this majestic mountains.

Este sin dudas debe ser uno de los lugares mas impactantes e increibles del mundo, una montaña mistica, deseada por cualquier alpinista del mundo, con mucha historia, polemica e incognitas acerca de su primer ascenso por el famoso alpinista italiano Maestri y su ruta del compresor, de esto hablare en otro post.
En esta ocacion fuimos a conocer el mirador
Maestri en honor al realizador del primer ascenso, la vista es impresionante, las agujas del cerro torre son únicas y te dejan hipnotizado por un buen rato, te hacen pensar en su historia, en la inmensidad de la naturaleza y su belleza incomparable, rodeado de glaciares y lagos en parque nacional los glaciares del sur patagonico en Argentina.
Es un trekking bastrante simple de unos 12km pero sin mucho ascenso, se parte desde el pueblo de El Chalten (capital nacional del trekking), se atraviesan bosques milenarios y arbustos patagonicos casi siempre con vista a las montañas, se llega al lago del glaciar torre y se bordea en ascenso hasta llegar al mirador.
Sin dudas estoy obligado a volver a este lugar, lo mucho que hay para hacer y conocer es demasiado tentador. Solo espero que no pase mucho tiempo para reencontrarme con estas majestuosas montañas.
