Hi Friends!
How is Yours beginning of a new week? Hope better than mine!
Here, in Ranheim, middle Norway, we got 5 cm of fresh snow... Green grass, flowers, leaves, cars with summer tires - all under the snow ;).
But to the picture - this is my favorite photo taken during my Saturday's mountain hike on mountain Jervfjellet located 20km from my home. As You can see, a lot of snow still covers the summit.
This location is magical not only because of the amazing views around, but also, because 10% of the trees, mostly pines, has crazy strange shapes, all the trunks and branches twisted in incredible way... Don't really know the reason of that.
Here, I managed to capture the setting sun between the twisted pine trunks.
Visible star is an effect of closed aperture in the lens - fully natural optical illusion.
Let me know if You like the shot, share with others the beauty of scandinavian nature!
And if You are interested in landscape and nature photography from Norway - Follow my page! Thanks!
Have a great day!
