Sunset in Hue, Vietnam

All of February 2018 I (@lichtcatchtoby) traveled through Vietnam and took a closer look at this fascinating country. This photo was taken on the eve of the Chinese New Year. So it was the last day of 2017 and was the transition to the beginning of the year of the dog. I took this photo from the balcony of the apartment where I stayed overnight. The Chinese New Year is generally an exciting experience because the traditions are so completely different than here in Central Europe. Especially the fact that the new year is celebrated while its +25 to 30°C outside is a nice change for me as an Austrian. We are normally freezing.

Sonnenuntergang in Hue

Den ganzen Februar 2018 bin ich (@lichtcatchtoby) durch Vietnam gereist und habe mir dieses faszinierende Land ein wenig angesehen. Dieses Foto entstand am Vorabend des Chinesischen Neujahrsfest. Es war also der letzte Tag des Jahres 2017 und war somit der Übergang zum Beginn des Jahr des Hundes. Ich habe dieses Foto vom Balkon des Apartments gemacht, in welchen ich übernachtet habe. Das Chinesische Neujahr ist generell einen spannende Erfahrung da die Bräuche so total anders sind als bei uns in Mitteleuropa. Vor allem die Tatsache das man bei +25 bis 30°C den Jahreswechsel feiert ist für mich als Österreicher eine schöne Abwechslung.
