..pada zaman dulu sirih ini biasanya digunakan untuk hidangan pertama para tamu sebelum memulai pembicaraan..dan sampai sekarang sirih ini masih dibudayakan di aceh...untuk khasiat daun sirih adalah dapat menghilangkan bau badan ,,keputihan untuk para wanita.,dan dapat membuat gigi kuat.
