I kind of feel blessed to be living in this part of the world because every day spent in here is like vacation. Part of that credit goes to Hive as well for paying the bills the past couple of years.
My lil town has become touristic just about a decade ago. Prior to that it was nothing but a pensioners dump hole with a naval construction site that was providing income to 50% of the locals.
Now boats, ships and jet skies are part of the picture. I have not been on a jet ski for quite some time, but I get to go out on the Danube with a boat every here and now.
This time we took for a spin an "old diesel one". You can't imagine the torque this thing has. It looks old and dated but it flies over the surface of the water.
The captain is next to me in one of the pics and the other boat belongs to a friend of his who's quite a driver. That tiny one has an outboard engine of 150 HP and it's insanely fast for what we have around here.
It is quite old as well, but a hell of a performer. Haven't had the chance to drive it, but I did drove the one I took the pictures from. It was really fun.
