Thachi Velly , a small town of Mandi Distt. in Himachal Pradesh , is situated in the middle of Himachal Pradesh.It is approximately 500 km from the capital of India, but what it doesn’t say, is that the territory is exclusively dangerous especially the last 41 Kms stretch and the drivers literally forget to take their foot off from the accelerator on the rough road while go up the hills.
Initially we were critic about the place, but when you have hills and wild on your mind, well, nothing can drift you away from setting foot on new grounds.
Talking about our stay, the wood house, well, we crossed an apple orchard and did a little trekking to reach there and what wide area completely stunned us. We are not wrong if we called this place heaven.
I am sharing some of the stunning shots captured by me and my colleagues.
Thachi Velly is situated in Mandi Distt. and near about 70-80 km from this place. The main food of the distt. is Kachori and tomato sauce including some other course like siddu(one kind of momo) and momos. Along with that most of the people who lives in village area manufacture wine in their home with some wild flora and other local ingredients.

From Mandi and Bhuntar to Aut - 30minutes
Aut to balichowki - 20 minutes
Balichowki to Thachi - 1 hour
