#755 - Ilocos Sur shots for Wednesday.

A blessed Wednesday evening all fellow dearest Hiveans. It's a very productive day for me today, woke up early before four at dawn and prepared our breakfast because I have to go to the office also and my shift starts at six. My son also woke up early to go to school, unfortunately I can't drop him off because I was a bit early to leave and it's still too early for him to be in school at five also. I was in the office ten minutes before six and there's only a few of us that reported physically on-site which was required today. Then I left after our meeting because I need to get back home because there's a number coding at five. Made it back in time as well and then went to the river for a quick walk since it's been several days since my last walk.

For our daily shots which is about travel today, here's a first one back in Ilocos Sur at the Mindoro beach. When we went there we also passed by a small airport of Vigan Ilocos Sur. The airport was closed when we passed by so maybe they have their own flight schedule and not operating round the clock. So when we got to the beach there was no entrance fee and you just have to securely park your vehicle. There are also locals there who are fishermen that look after the vehicles of people going to the beach.

The beach has fine black sands that is the reason why people come visit it from different parts of the country. The long shoreline of the beach all the way to the shores of Sta. Catalina are black sands. This is also the first time I saw this kind of sands and one of the reasons we came to see the province. We could see here a couple enjoying their time wherein the man is taking photos of her woman on the water.

Here's the wife once again jogging on the sands which is just a continuation of the first shot above. The tide was low and the water level is also just within the hip deep which is nice for a morning swim. Surfing here may work but the waves are not as high as those in La Union.

Then we got here more scenes of the water, we could see that it's calmer that that in La Union. Maybe during high tides the water here rise up and could be a good time to surf too.

The beach also has a high sea wall which means that the waves could be high during rainy or storm surge. There are also wave dissipating concrete all over that are shown but most are already buried deep on the sands while some are still showing up.
