May Day in Kreuzberg refers to the street fairs and demonstrations in Berlin’s borough Kreuzberg on the 1st of May. Each year thousands of people head to Kreuzberg on Labour day, to celebrate the 1st of May. The city shuts down, the people come out, the police show up. There are protests, demonstrations and celebrations.
