Today I invite you to the lake Neusiedl a large steppe lake on the border between Austria and Hungary. Here in Austria on the average only maximal 1.80 m., you can stand almost anywhere. Just surprised because I'm used to something different with the Swiss lakes. It is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Very popular for sailing, ciclyng, wind surfing and as a wine growing areas. The lake can almost disappear because it is a closed basin lake with no natural river flowing out.
Unfortunately not ideal for swimming.
