The upgrade В-2

When uploading test photos taken with the B-2 lens (home-made from the projector’s lens), I noted that it has a very shallow depth of field. For projectors, diaphragms were not needed, unlike cameras and enlargers. It’s the same as shooting with a regular lens with a full aperture.

Hence there are restrictions on the use of B-2. A small object in macro cannot be captured entirely with sufficient sharpness of detail.

For some stories, this is justified and may even be desirable. But the lens ceases to be universal. And here you can hear the fraction of drumsticks ...

Выкладывая тестовые фото, сделанные с объективом Б-2 (самоделка из объектива проектора), я отмечал, что у него очень маленькая глубина резкости. Для проекторов не нужны были диафрагмы, в отличии от камер и фотоувеличителей. Это всё равно, что снимать на обычный объктив с полностью открытой диафрагмой.

Отсюда есть ограничения использования Б-2. Небольшой объект в макро не получится снять целиком с достаточной резкостью деталировки.

Для некоторых сюжетов это оправдано и даже может быть желаемо. Но объектив перестаёт быть универсальным. И тут слышна дробь барабанных палочек...

Так получилось, что имею несколько объективов Индустар-26М. Да,вот именно таких. Сегодня одним стало меньше. Конструкция оказалась хитрой, но не хитрее старого патефона, который я разобрал будучи мальцом лет10-ти. Ломать не строить

Всё, что мне было нужно на этой ~~авто~~ фоторазборке, это диафрагма. И я её получил.

All I needed on this ~~auto~~ photo disassembly was the diaphragm. And I got it.

Теперь предстоит закрепить диафрагму внутри моего объектива. Как ни странно, в трубке объектива было достаточно места. Мне пришлось увеличить наружный диаметр кольца диафрагмы за счёт пары плстиковых колец. Я отрезал их от сантехнической трубы. И ещё добавил слой чёрной изоляционной ленты.

Now I have to fix the diaphragm inside my lens. Oddly enough, there was enough space in the lens tube. I had to increase the outer diameter of the diaphragm ring due to a pair of plastic rings. I cut them off the plumbing pipe. And he added a layer of black insulation tape.

Да, у меня не будет внешней регулировки диафрагмы. Для её изменения мне придётя снять объектив с камеры и установить нужный диаметр. Но если я планирую съёмку в определённых условиях, это не будет серьёзной помехой.

Я сделал один контрольный снимок. Испытания ещё впереди. Но уже здесь видно, что глубина резкости увеличилась. Примерное значение диафрагмы соответствуе f5. Модернизация прошла успешно.

I took one control shot. Trials are yet to come. But it is already visible here that the depth of field has increased. The approximate aperture value corresponds to f5. The upgrade was successful.
