Back in the other side site there was a group, the Negative Souls. They were called like that cause they pointed out all the corruption, injustice, spam, copyrights violations, vote farming and circle jerking in the place. Of course, being against all what's wrong makes you the bad person in some people's eyes... especially if those people are the ones doing all that crap and are in the top of the power chain. I'm always part of the "rebels", the "fighters", the "warriors".... the "negative souls". Why? I can't stand crap! If something is wrong, is wrong! Period! Rules are there for a reason and even tho some rules are wrong and at some point rules can be tweaked to make them better, you have to follow them.
So breaking all the rules (and laws) hiding behind a fake power to justify your stupidity, jerkness and lack of honesty is wrong (and penalized by law... copyrights violations... does that ring a bell?) You see, people complains a lot about steemit and criticize it. Some refers to steemit like if it was the devil made blockchain but is not true. Yes, steemit is not perfect but compared to the rest of the social network/ blog blockchains is the best one. Why? Descentralization, real one! Freedom, real one. A team of people that cleans the place to keep the spam, copyright violations, circle jerking, vote farming and crap as minimum as they can. Real effective curation projects, witnesses that work literally their asses off to make the blockchain stable, secure, sustainable. Plus dozens (or hundreds, I stopped counting) of dapps that make your experience richer, easier, better!
I don't need to be a "negative soul" here! Actually in 2 years I never had to be a fighter, a warrior, a rebel, a negative soul here... not even once! I'm happy here, this is my happy place. Where I'm the happy cookie joking around, having laughs with strangers and friends while I grow up (slow but steady) in this blockchain. I'm grateful for this place!
