I looked at SO MANY cameras and really like Canon cameras. My S95 for example, tiny and excellent camera. But the g7x models I have seen, while they are great still cams, do not offer 4K video from what I have seen. That to me, means the LX10, is a newer generation camera and has capabilities no Canon can match right now, maybe this Christmas ;-)
