Greetings @lupega ,
Of course...I should think that is common sense. And neither would we want to carry the past around with us ie. 'a chip on the shoulder'. We trust God to give us the thoughts, motives, decisions, actions to deal with any situation....we give the problem to Him...He is God and once we are believers in Christ Jesus...we are His children.
II Timothy 1.7 'For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power (wisdom from learning the doctrines of the Bible) and of virtue-love, (a relaxed mental attitude toward all) and of a sound mind.
I Peter 5.7..Casting all your cares on Him...For He cares for you.
Psalm 5.8...Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because
of mine enemies; Make thy way straight before my face.
The Psalms and Proverbs of the Bible make for very good reading with many wise words for young men.
Kind Regards,
Bleujay
