Yesterday I was out at my family's home and took a break to take a little walk. Sometimes as a mom I find it hard to find time for myself, so these few moments were precious and helped me connect to the photographer in me again. The flowers were beautiful and the sun was warm, so I took my phone and went strolling around. These images from my phone are the result of that walk!
Near the end of my walk I heard my mom's dog barking at something and it turned out to be an escaped chicken (pictured in the last photo below)! So I picked the chicken up and put her back in her home safely.

I even had a chance to play with some light flares!
I saw flowers that reminded me of truffula trees.
And here is our poor lost hen...
