This morning, I came through a park in my town (basically the only one here). It was early morning, with some light rain, and barely any people on the streets.
Thankfully, we've had a couple of rainy days recently after weeks of heat and drought in April. Not to mention the last two summers which were the driest and hottest I've ever seen.
Compared to the size of the town, this park is relatively small. The trees there are mostly very old and huge oaks.
You often see squirrels there and many birds live in this park. It's a gem in the middle of my chaotic little town with way too much traffic passing through.
