I think this is one of the biggest trees that we took down when working on the lot. I love the big, beautiful trees - but this one was right smack-dab in the middle of the property. That's a whole lot of wood to split and pile!!!

Poor tree. Will make a lot of firewood for your campfire
I know...I don't really like taking them down. If I want to build, then I need to clear a space for the bunkie. It is nice to open up the lot a bit, as I have a better view of the lake.
It’s important to thin out the forest every now and then.... it prevents Forest fires. Also sometimes the trees grow too close together ... especially the spruce
