Some sessions just hit different, and this one with Dane and Hope is at the top of that list. We've known Hope since her high school days, so when we got to photograph her and Dane's wedding just over a year ago, it felt like such a full-circle moment. And now? There's a baby on the way, and we couldn't be more thrilled to be part of this next chapter of their story.
We headed out to Shelter Gardens here in Columbia for their maternity session, and honestly, it's one of those locations that never lets you down. The sunshine, the gorgeous surroundings — it all just works. But what really made this session special wasn't the setting, it was watching Dane and Hope together. You can just feel how excited they are as they talked about waiting to know the baby's gender, etc. Dane is finishing up Medical School and soon will be moving on to residency and this little one is to arrive right in the middle of all that! Can't wait to meet this little one!
