Weekend hike. Having found the ruins of an old church, clearly abandoned on the satellite map, it was decided to go and see it live. Since the photos found on the network, she looked very photogenic. Well, since I don't have a personal car, I had to plan the entire route by public transport, and passing cars. Moreover, in addition, to look for something interesting nearby, so as not to go so far for the sake of just one church. This church is located 300 km from my city, in the neighboring area. It was lucky that a regular bus runs along a large highway, relatively not far from the destination point. Three and a half hours on the road, and I'm almost there - Orenburg region, Severnoye village. The first photo shows him in the distance.

The village of Severnoye is the center of the Northern District of the Orenburg Region. The village is not very large, there are no attractions, except for the temple, the monument to Lenin, and the monument to those who died in the Second World War. But here the main thing for me was to find a passing car to get to the nearest village to the church - the village of Secretarka

Village Secretarka. There is nothing to it from the North - 26 kilometers. For 400 rubles they brought me to the center of the village. The driver, a local resident, was very surprised to learn that someone might come to them for the sake of the church ruins. But he suggested the shortest way to the church, and in general he told a lot of interesting things from the life of a once large village. In the photo below - the village of Secretarka

Ahead is the final push - the way through the fields to the Mertovshchina tract, to the ruins of the church. 8 kilometers in the sun ...

The tract Mertovshchina, during the USSR - the village of Pervomayskoye. The only thing left of the village at the moment is this church and the old cemetery aside.

And so the first hiking day came to an end. I decided to spend the night right in the church building, as there was a strong wind outside, the tent was even blown away from time to time. I realized that the decision was correct even at night, when I woke up from the sounds of heavy rain.)

Yes, and slept very well there.) Although some people frightened with scary stories ..)
