Over the past few months I have amassed a bit of a collection of shots of LMPD at some of their 'finer' moments. This guy here is a major with LMPD and is in charge of their SWAT team. Looking at the news today I realized that he is one of the two officers who were wounded when shots were fired Wednesday night.
I'm still amazed we didn't end up caught in a crossfire that night, before it was all over even the FBI was there. From what I was reading in the news today the major here is back on light duty. The city is bracing for the release of the grand jury transcripts on Friday so y'all keep your fingers crossed that there's no more gunfire.
