Today I wanted to share some photos of mountain lakes, that I took while hiking in the spanish pyrenees. It was a very long hike around a plateau full of lakes and to the top of a nearby 2900m peak. The lakes facinated me a lot. The water was so clear that you could see right through to the ground closeby and so still that you could see the reflections of the mountains in the distance.
The first photo gives you a general view of all the lakes that we circled on our way. It was shot from the peak of of the mountain Pic Carlit. Thanks! Yeah it was a really awesome place, I just love the pyrenees as a whole.
The landscape is so diverse and beautiful, you always get to see new things behind every corner.
