This is my first moon shot I used a Cannon rebel sl2. The picture is a little fuzzy I learned that I need a more powerful lens, but I am still excited over the photo none the less.
I used the lens that came with the camera in a kit. Please note that I used my computer to blow the picture up a little more and had to adjust the lighting to see the details. The lens is a Cannon 300 mm. I domnt think 300 mm is strong enough I meed something a lot stronger.

This is a great photo. I've never taken a photo of the moon; I am not sure why, but I will have a go next time I see the moon.

It is expensive. However you can rent it as a subscription service 10.00 dollars a month. I dont know how much it is in pounds.
about five pounds I think , good idea to rent it , but you would have to get your moneys worth !
