Unas de las sensaciones más agradables que he llegado a sentir es la aventura de ir lejos de casa y conocer lugares nuevos. Desde pequeño mi tierra era un lugar muy distinto para los ciudadanos del Norte de Europa. A eso le añadimos que era muy barato y no estaba muy lejos del todo. Por aquel entonces teníamos una cultura muy marcada o cerrada donde los bailes y cantes regionales y la forma de vida campestre llamaba a ser visitado por los viajeros.
One of the most pleasant sensations I have come to feel is the adventure of going far away from home and seeing new places. Since I was a child, my homeland was a very different place for Northern European citizens. Added to that, it was very cheap and not very far away at all. At that time we had a very strong or closed culture where the regional dances and songs and the rural way of life called to be visited by travellers.

Without technology, smart phones, you needed a good map or what has always worked, asking the locals. This way you got to know the towns or villages much better by talking to the people. This is being lost with technology.
