Here are the final photos captured from the Grassi Lakes hiking area, located minutes from the town of Canmore, Alberta, Canada. This was an easy family hiking experience, and highly recommended. If you find yourself in the area, definitly check it out!
On that particular day, it just so happened that a bear was spotted in the area, so the authorities ended up closing down the hiking trail. Just a reminder that one should always carry bear spray in your backpack.

Lovely picture, the authority did the right thing by closing the area than allowing the bear to eat someone.
Awesome photography I like it and follow you hope you also do same for me thanks and happy new year
Beautiful hiking trail and the pictures are beautiful.
Too bad you didn't get to enjoy the trail this day, but better safe than sorry. Meeting with a bear would be pretty scary.
I have seen few in Prince George BC, when they come into town and backyards which is pretty scary.
We did in fact get to spend a lot of time there!
We realized it was closed as we exited the trail, thanks for stopping by
Wow!
Amazing. Nice post and photo @daveks

Thanks for looking!
I love the up close detail the best! That third last one is gorgeous.
Really nice pictures of the Rockies. Well done. I like my bear spray at the ready when I’m in grizzly country!
Wow it looks stunning there! :D The bear sign made me giggle too: bear activity sounds like they're all in there having a party or maybe a group day out. Sounds fun.
Hey I liked your post! would be nice if you checked out mine too about traveling to northern Norway! :)
