Hey steemit! Here is a few of my underwater shots of the Beautiful reef in Coral Cay Conservatory, in Barangay Napantao in the town of San Francisco.
Coral Cay Conservatory is a Non-Government Organization and volunteer center dedicated to doing research on the rich undersea landscape of this part of southern Leyte. We were mere visitors to the reef but if you have the time and passion you can spend months in the reef as a volounteer.
The reef has a rich marine ecosystem, huge corals and a variety of fish species I've only seen in National Geographic.
Although we weren't able to fully explore the reef during our visit since it is so vast and the current was strong that day. It was a feast for the eyes, we are totally coming back for sure!
If you wish to know how to get here and dive with the whale sharks check out my Travel Blog. Its has details on how to get there, the budget and tips as well!
Thanks for stopping by! Stay awesome!!
just by looking at the photos my eyes are also feasting to the school of fish and beautiful corals and nemo!
There is so much more to see! My photos are just a sneak peak into the beautiful seascape!!
Seems an interesting place to go diving. Though we have plans for summer already, I will try to squeeze in Leyte in our itinerary.
Nice photos @davids-tales
Thanks! If your a diver you will truly enjoy the place!!
