After a short time in the hospital, I am back out. One word of advice, don’t come off your mental health meds too fast. It’s not worth it.

Jesus Fuck man! I can relate been through it as well many times. Hit me up anytime you need! I’m good at buddy checks, I get them every once and a while too!
Thanks brother. I appreciate it.
Not at all! It can be life threatening so I cannot agree more with you.
I am of the opinion that just like a diabetic cannot live without his/her insulin shot, just so does anyone going through mental health issues need their meds. However if one feels strong enough, it's ok but as you said, not too fast.
I was able to come off strong anti-depressants that I took for probably like 15 years if not longer. It was kind of forced on me when my particular medication was discontinued and I certainly did not want to start all over again with something new and I felt strong enough at the time. So I was weaned off with the help of a very wise homeopath and regular transcendental meditation; I believe any form of meditation can help, but TM is more powerful I believe.
Sorry for the long response but I understand the anguish of mental health having gone through it myself and having lost two people very close to my heart who did not get the right help.
Please take good care of yourself, take your meds regularly and go slow when you decide to come off it, but see someone good to help you with the process.
Thanks for the response. I am glad you were able to come off your meds that you were taking. I went too fast by trying to come off of multiple meds at once and also deal with stresses of work.
Welcome back. Sorry about that
Thanks man
How you doing sir, hope you feel better now.
Ya, I am doing good now.
That's a really good news...
@derangedvisions I am glad you are back and just as you have pointed out. Not only mental meds. Others meds used by patients should be used and stopped according to the doctors advice
I was already wondering cause you were not posting. Glad you´re back. Get well soon!
lol. Thanks for noticing. I appreciate it.
For the last year or so i've been trying not to come on those meds. Once you go on them there is no way back i'm afraid.
You just have to take it very slow when you are getting off them.
So I've heard. I really wish you can get off them completely some day. Mess in the head is some weird shit, and i am glad for the people that have never experienced that. And if you never had it, it's even hard to imagine the weird ways brain and biochemistry alters your perception of the surrounding world.
glad to hear you are ok now! i hope you are in the loving arms of your family and keep the awesome job with the photography you do to keep your mind busy with things you like!
Thanks. It is nice to be back with family.
Welcome back, and hope you are doing fine now.
Happy you feel better , to me you have a strong mind
Meds or no meds you are strong
Thank you
I hope all is good !
Don't get me started on Big Pharma. Glad you're feeling better, though.
