Almost a 10 year old camera; the LX3 was a great performer.
I only buy a new camera every 5 years; and usually by then, there is a whole new generation of technology available, (compared to cars, which I can keep for 10-20 years).
yep. my lx3 survives. i let my kids use it. they did drop it but still works. it's my first compact camera. its unfair to compare it with DSLR. but i not use my lx3 much bec. its slow compare to my nikon D80. oh. for me i buy, used it until it broke. then buy a new one :) i never sell my stuff. i see them as part of my family :) if i really not need it. i give it to my relatives or friends.
I agree, this is part of my family; so it's not easy to get in ;-)
