I’ve been roaming the streets for two weeks, documenting the effects of Covid-19, and finally I found what I was looking for!

People wearing facemasks!

The streets have been quiet, many stores closed and everyone keeping to themselves, taking the Corona virus very seriously, but I had yet to see anyone wearing a face mask! Today I finally managed to see not only one, but two people wearing a facemask, and managed to capture them on camera.

I get fulfillment from the simplest things.

Shot with the Nikon D750 and Sigma 85mm f/1.4.

It does get boring! I haven't gone outside maybe for 3 weeks already.
Feeling like a caveman over here! ;/

Where do you live? Are you guys banned from going outside? 😫

Documenting the ordinary can be quite interesting. Thanks for proving that :)

I enjoy it very much :) it’s been too boring in here!

The Fins are finally starting to realize the WHO are incompetent....
still mighty rare here in the US

I don’t feel like I need a face mask. We have so few cases in here and much open air around us.

I'm seeing more everyday

It’s a bit of an odd sight isn’t it?

Yeah. That and people who expect me to walk out in the street so they can go by me. The really paranoid ones are no fun at all

They were hard to find in Ljubljana at first as well, but a couple of days ago they made wearing face masks in indoor public places mandatory, so many people wear them everywhere. It really is a strange sight, but at least it is photogenic:)

Very photogenic :) but I don’t expect to see much more here.

Still not many masks around here, but it’s only a matter of time.

My Instagram is full of influencers showing you how to make masks with a bandanna and elastic. Not sure about how effective they are, but we shall see.

Our state governor just announced that they are required if we go outside, although I guess it's not enforced with criminal penalties (yet).

It's no big shock because I'm used to seeing them around Chinatown--not just during this outbreak, but for years. It seems to be a cultural thing.

But my niece works at a grocery store that requires their staff to wear masks now. They're letting her use a simple bandana because a regular mask causes her to hyperventilate.

As for me, I do my jogging in the woods where no one can see me.
