By the way, does your Nikon D7200 have auto exposure bracketing somewhere in the menus? I haven't found it anywhere in the menus of my D3400. The two camera bodies have the same sensor and the same processor but the D7200 has more functionalities.
It seems I have to fiddle with exposure compensation manually if I want HDR images. That can only be done with a tripod, obviously.
I don’t like HDR but I tried to find if there is an option to get that. With a fast google action I did find that there should be an option for that in my camera, you definitely need a manual for that! 😅
In landscape photography, taking two different exposures of the same frame is also often used. I don't know what exactly qualifies as HDR but I've watched many videos in which photographers show how they achieve better results with exposure stacking.
Ain’t nobody got time for that! I think shooting in raw is quite enough.

Lovely... bleak, empty... sad, in some way. But the ice melts, and the spring will soon be there. I do remember the feeling of March becoming April, when it seems like the cold and darkness has lasted forever.
