A one time guest

Just once in many years that I grow blooming flowers in my balcony I saw a Carpenter bee popping in. The same year I tried to take some photos of one I saw flying around the lawn and couldn't catch it, it came to me.

They are big, almost black and shiny. And they fly like choppers. Such amazing creatures.

I guess I was lucky enough to have my camera near by and I got a few shots. She didn't really mind me getting closer. She was just interested in the blue Delphinium flowers that were in full bloom at that time.

One of my favourite! I am glad that there are plenty in my garden

I wish I had plenty of them too. They are so so gorgeous!

I've seen those a few times but I'm afraid of them 😀 Surprise, who would have thought, right?
I guess I'm not brave enough 😐

They look dangerous cause they are so big. I don't think the are into any bad stuff though of you are not trying to piss them off :P

Me? Piss them off? I'm out of there in a split second 😁

hahaha :D
