Little Moss island

in #photography5 years ago

I can't wait to shoot those again. The blooming mosses that look like green carpet start to green up as it has been raining for the past few days. Those were growing on edge woodland area we went one day for a photo walk. Sometimes you just have to refill the folders, right?

Here it reminds me Bittercresses> I hope that's the English name for it...
Do you also sow it in winter on wet cotton to have the spicy, green dropouts to eat? Delicious stuff!
We used to do it every year. Also in school as some little projects we were paining eyes and lips on the eggshells, fill them up with cotton and the sow the little seeds there. After they grew it looks like the egg faces had green hair. Cool stuff to do with kinds in winter ;)

And then I lift my head and there she was... looking at me like if I was invading her kingdom. A true Mantis Queen.
