Travelling is essential for us. I truly believe it brings everyone closer together. We would understand each other and accept differences. It will broaden your mind and your imagination. You'll get a break from your everyday life and see the true wonders of the world. Today, there are more options to travel than ever before. There is a whole community of 'Digital Nomads'. They're equipped with nothing more than a backpack and a laptop to roam the world.
Invest in yourself
We invest in our education and you should also do so in travelling. It is an absolutely underrated investment in your opportunities and abilities. The people you will meet and and the struggles you go through will help you grow. You will emerge from every journey stronger than when you departed.
Get to know the world
I've met so many wonderful persons on my travels and they all agreed: Travelling enriches your horizon. There are just too many things, too much history and too much culture you were not taught in school or university. You will learn these things not only from a theoretical point of view but will experience it first hand and remember for the rest of your life. Despite all our differences, you will realise how much more we, as humans, have in common. Borders in our heads and hearts will disappear. You will have stories to tell for generations - for your children and grandchildren.
