I was encouraging her to speak up, and especially to give credit or thanks to others who have helped her. Most of us do not do enough of this.
Most people are more inclined to speak up to complain but not to credit others - e.g., thank those who upvote you without leaving a comment.
Oh.. I got it, happy to lear it why you mentioned like that..
But you nailed it in the second part, With much regret I have to admit that I am in that category. May be I was not aware about that courtsey comment to be done or I ignored it. May be because grown up without a mentor.

@angelro - reading your comments, and also comments from @cicisaja - you are both great at commenting and engaging on other people's posts.
To state the obvious, and what you both know, while your SP is low and do not give much value, comments that are sincere, compliments, and of substance are your most powerful tools and not your upvotes.
You both know it and are great examples.
I am just bringing it out by stating that others should learn from you both without reference to anyone.
Wow! This made my day and really a great feeling when it comes from some one like you, and it made all the way more worth when it is compared with @cicisaja, In fact they are my mentors in this league.
